About our Events

Strategy Breakfasts

Breakfast briefings will focus on Macro Level issues that strategists need to be aware of in forming strategy, but cannot directly influence. They are externalities the business has no control over, but could have a big impact on the risks and opportunities associated with strategic decisions. They are often referred to by the acronyms PEST or PESTEL and include: 

• Politics
• Economy
• Society
• Technology
• Environment
• Law 

The events will take the form of briefing sessions followed by Q&A sessions, and an opportunity to network over breakfast.

Strategy Lunches

Lunch events will be a forum for learning about the practical application of key strategic models and tools in the development and implementation of strategy at the business unit level. Guest speakers will also be invited and case studies will be presented.

Strategy Dinners

Dinner events will focus on peer-to-peer learning amongst strategists of a similar level of seniority. They will also include both multi-sector and specific sector events, or a programme of dinners on a particular theme. Guest speakers will also be invited as appropriate. Some will also operate as ongoing special interest groups with members from a particular industry or profession.

Strategy Suppers

Supper events will be inspirational seminars focused on hot topics that are introduced by inspirational speakers. They will be designed to appeal to strategists of all levels, and to offer excellent networking opportunities.
